The time has arrived for an idealistic, chase-your-dreams, salsa-loving, chica americana to step forth and discover the land of her birth. With two months to spare before hauling-ass down to South America in search of pinkery, the road leads westward from Las Vegas, Nevada. And what awaits me in Taiwan? A mother, a grandmother, a couple of aunts, uncles, and cousins, a variety of food, drink, activities and surprises to be sure. Departure is only a mere week away. Two months...I can't even begin to image.
